Aluminum
Anodized Aluminum is aluminum that has been chemically colored. This gives the option of having a range of colors in your purchase. The color can be removed with abuse, over time, or through accidents, but will not come off from standard use. Anodized Aluminum does not rust and does not turn your skin green or leave any residue behind after use. Bright Aluminum is also chemically treated to have a shinier appearance. However, bright aluminum has been known to leave a black residue on your skin. The amount of residue varies from person to person and can be lessened by washing your piece in mildly soapy water before putting it on. The residue washes off with soap and water without any real effort.

Stainless Steel
Stainless Steel is a very strong material that will not rust. The metal is stronger, heavier, and more expensive than bright aluminum; however, it will not leave the black residue.

Niobium
Niobium is a hypo-allergenic material that is offered for those who have a hard time shopping for jewelry due to their allergic reactions. The material is much more expensive than most other metals due to its lack of reactions on people. Anodized Niobium is also available, but the colors are not the same as the Anodized Aluminum. When anodized, no color is actually added to the metal, but an oxide layer is built up around the wire which displays the colors. The thickness of this layer determines which color is shone, but the layer may not be 100% consistent throughout the wire, and so you may have rings that vary a bit in color.

Sterling Silver
Sterling Silver is made from 92.5% silver. It is a beautiful material but does tarnish with age. However, it can easily be restored with a chemical silver polish.

EPDM Rubber
EPDM Rubber is a latex free rubber that allows your purchase to have some stretch and flexibility. This allows you to have clasp-less pieces to match your preferences. The EPDM rubber rings come in 8 different colors which are the four on the left and right sides of the picture. The 8 colors on the center two rows are Glow in-the-dark silicone rings, which are also latex free. The left-inner row is the color in light and the right-inner row is what they look like when glowing.

Scales
Scales are an accessory to chainmail. They look closely to fishing lures. I use them in all sorta of items - keychains, bracelets, Scale-Flowers, and more.
